Applicant must be participating in a degree program at an accredited institution, is a Costume Society of America member, and has research projects in the field of North American costume which are part of the degree requirements. George M. Brooker Collegiate Scholarship for Minorities

Applicant must be a member of a minority group and a U.S. citizen. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale within their major and must have completed two courses in real estate or indicate an intent to complete such courses. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA for the academic year for which the award applies or the scholarship may be revoked. Research/Project Grant

Award: $4,000

Applicant must be part of a research team that has at least one member who is a member of Kappa Omicron Nu. The research approach must be integrative in nature and it must make connections across specializations to pursue problems or questions. A technical report must be submitted upon completion of the project. Applicant must submit a proposal that includes an abstract, a justification, a statement of objectives/hypotheses, a narrative description of the project, a management plan, a budget, literature citations, and supplementary materials. Applicant should submit five copies of the proposal and the proposal should be limited to 10 pages including the supplementary materials.

Matthews & Swift Educational Trust Scholarship

Award: $25,000

Applicant must fall into one of the following categories: must be a child of a member in good standing who, while serving in the military forces of his country in a combat zone, specifically designated as such by the Board of Directors, is killed by hostile action or wounded by hostile action resulting within two years thereof in permanent and total disability; or be the child of a member in good standing who, while in the lawful performance of his duties as a full-time law enforcement officer or full-time firefighter, died as the result of criminal violence directed at him. An application must be filed within two years of the date of the death of the member in both cases. Award may be used at Catholic colleges only.
