They must be high school juniors or seniors who are declared theatre majors or are registered for theatre classes. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Seniors must have an SAT combined score of 1800 or greater or an ACT score of 26 or greater. Junior applicants must have received an Excellent or Superior in any individual events at the district level. Applicants must audition for the awards. Awards are given in three theatre-related areas including acting, musical theatre and design/technical management. Applicants must be approved by their Thespian Troupe director to apply.
