The Bright Futures program consists of three different awards: Florida Academic Scholars (FAS), Florida Medallion Scholars (FMS) and Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars (GSV). Curwen-Guidry-Blackburn Scholarship Fund

Students must be high school seniors and currently bowling in a USBC Certified Youth League. Students must reside in a Southern Bowling Congress member state which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Applicants must have bowled in a USBC Certified Youth League three of four years in high school and have bowled 75 percent of the league schedule. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and achieved an ACT composite score of 20 or SAT composite score of 1410.

Grand Prix Scholarship Program

Participants must be youth bowlers who have not graduated from high school. The program is open to youth bowlers of all ages including pre-school bumper leagues. The program rewards participation and not necessarily ability. Funds may be earned at the state and local level. Once you begin the program, participants must remain in a youth bowling program each year until graduation from high school. If the participant fails to participate in at least one youth league session for the year, the accumulated funds will be forfeited.
