Virginia's Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife Program

Applicant must be a Virginia resident at least one year prior to application, be accepted or enrolled as a full-time student, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA in required courses. Financial need must be demonstrated. Application and official transcripts are required to be submitted.

Renewable up to five years if recipient reapplies and demonstrates satisfactory academic progress.

Award must be repaid with interest if recipient does not engage in full-time nursing in Virginia for one year of service per scholarship award.
