Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States. Essay on the following topic and questions are required: From your perspective, what are the myriad of benefits that locally-owned small businesses play in the economic health and social vibrancy of our communities? How would our communities be impacted without these vital small businesses and the jobs they create? What regulatory or legal governmental policies could be instituted or reformed to further enhance the growth and health of locally-owned small businesses? What could colleges, universities and trade schools do to further enhance the health and potential success of these small businesses?
