HOPE & PROMISE Teacher Scholarship Loans
Applicant must be a student looking to teach in a critical shortage field in Georgia (determined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission).
Service cancelable loans. Recipient must teach in critical shortage field for graduate students in Georgia Public School System.
$3,000 for PROMISE award; 200 credit hours for HOPE award.
Renewable if recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA.
PROMISE: One year of service for every $1,500 received; HOPE: One year of service for every $2,500 received.
