Freedom Scholarship Essay Contest

Applicant must be a recent high school graduate who attended school in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Preference given to residents in the 6th Aldermanic District. Acceptance letter, transcripts, photo ID, and essay required on this topic: "(a) analyze why it is so vital that the remembrance, history and lessons of freedom be passed to a new generation; and (b) suggest what you, as students, can do to combat and prevent prejudice, discrimination and violence in our world today."
