Applicant must be a Maryland resident attending a Maryland school and be a recipient of the Distinguished Scholar Award.
Renewable for up to three years and maintain Distinguished Scholar Award status.
Award must be repaid with interest if recipient does not teach in a Maryland public school for one year for each year of assistance received.
