CAARI Senior Scholar In Residence
The Senior Scholar in Residence (SSR) program is designed to further the development of young scholars and students through daily, informal contact with an established scholar. The presence of a senior scholar in residence at the CAARI hostel provides many opportunities for meeting and working with other residents. Applicant must have a PhD in archaeology or an ancillary field for at least five years prior to the visit. Fluency in English required.
In this program, the SSR would commit to stay at least 30 days in succession at and to be available in the evenings and during the weekends of their stay at CAARI. In return, the SSR would receive a 50% discount for those 30 days from the normal hostel cost.
