For a District to qualify and recommend a student for an AHEPA Educational Foundational National Scholarship, it must have: A viable, ongoing scholarship program administered by an established educational/scholarship entity such as a Foundation, a Committee, etc. The District educational/scholarship entity uses a vehicle such as an application to allow the student to apply for a scholarship, as well as use the information provided by the student, to rank the applicants. The District educational/scholarship entity must have awarded each year for the last two years at least two scholarships per year excluding the AHEPA Educational Foundation National Scholarship and at least $1,000 in scholarship awards per year. The student recommended for an AHEPA Educational Foundation National Scholarship has been selected using the same procedures as those that qualified applicants for the District Scholarships.
